About Mackenzie Young
Mackenzie otherwise known as “Kenzie” has been dancing at Dance Dynamics since the age of 5 years old. She has been teaching at the studio for 6 years and is currently teaching cheer, ballet/tap, tumbling, lyrical, hip hop, jazz, and contemporary from ages 2 &1/2 to 18. Her dance experience includes jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, cheer, gymnastics, modern, and ballroom. Mackenzie has studied at various dance conventions, such as, Tremaine and The Pulse. She has performed under the artistic direction of many choreographers and continues to learn from them including Mrs. Jeanette, Mr. Stephen, Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Angela.
Mackenzie has won many awards from her training in dance. She’s received numerous awards and scholarships at various dance competitions including Starbound, Bella Donna, Dancin’ Dayz, Victor Dru, Hall of Fame, Star Systems, Legacy, Showbiz, and Showstoppers.
Dancing is and always will be Mackenzie’s passion and she hopes to help kids see and pursue that same passion in dance as much as she does. Although she doesn’t perform anymore, she lives through her students while they are on stage!
