About Angela Torres
Angela took her first dance class at the age of 3 and has been hooked ever since. Over the years she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tumbling and musical theater. She began teaching at 16 and is currently at both Dance Dynamics locations.
Angela has won many top awards as a performer both individually and with a group, her most favorite being ‘Dances With Heart’ which she won in the summer of 2007 for her lyrical solo “Someday”.
She has been asked to perform in and choreograph for many local musical revues and variety shows over the last 8 years. She enjoys taking classes in L.A. and has studied under Doug Caldwell, Laurie Johnson, Linda Bernabie, Mia Michaels, Margarite Derricks and Al Gilbert.
Angela graduated with a 4.2 GPA and honors with a scholarship to Brookes Institute of Photography. She won rotary youth leadership award as a junior and was chosen to represent her high school at a model schools conference in Kissamee, Florida in 2003.
On the weekends, she plays in an adult soccer league and loves going to the beach. Angela LOVES her dancing and hopes she can inspire her students to have the same passion for dancing and performing she has come to have!
