Thomas Cook

Thomas Cook has been dancing at Dance Dynamics since the age of 9 and is currently a Jr. Teacher at the studio.  Thomas teaches Hip Hop and has assisted with Cheer and Tumbling.  Thomas has taken Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Cheer, Tumbling, Tap and Ballroom.  While teaching he still continues to take classes in all disciplines from Ms. Jeanette, Mr. Stephen, Ms. Sarah and Ms. Angela. He has won many 1^st place duet and group awards at many competitions including Hall of Fame, Showstoppers, Legacy, Bella Donna, Starbound,  Star Systems and Dancin’ Dayz.

When Thomas was in high school he was heavily involved in Drama and was in several school plays including Grease, Taming of the Shrew and Peter Pan to name a few.  Thomas was a Varsity Cheerleader and also participated in DTASC his freshmen year where his group took 1^st place and moved onto the next level of competition.  Whether singing, dancing or acting he enjoys being on stage and performing!

He is also one half of the music duo called S.C.B. (Southern Cali Boyz) with Ryan Young who is also a teacher at Dance Dynamics.  Their first single “Dance On The Floor” featuring Sarah Toups will be available on itunes in the near future.

Thomas has had the privilege of taking classes with many great choreographers such as Dave Scott, Laurieann Gibson, Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Gil Duldulao, Brian Friedman, Robert Hoffman, Cris Judd, Brooke Lipton, Desmond Richardson, Tucker Barkley, Peter Chu and Andy Blankenbuehler while attending The Pulse Dance Conventions as various locations across the United States.  He has received several scholarships from The Pulse including several free conventions, $100 off a summer event, an invitation to participate in their Summer Intensive in New York and a scholarship for ree classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York.  In addition to The Pulse he has also attended Tremaine.  He plans to pursue a career in dance and wants to continue teaching kids how to dance and hopes they will love it as much as he does.
